Hampshire, needing 31 from the last 20 balls with five wickets standing, fell agonisingly short as paceman Ben Sanderson removed Joe Weatherley (75) and Sonny Baker in consecutive deliveries; Baker had earlier taken a Finals Day record 5-21 with the ball, while James Sales took 3-25 for Northants in the chase.
