Eiichiro Oda’s ‘ONE PIECE’ Vol. 115 Rises to No. 1 on Japan Book Hot 100

Billboard · 20 hours ago

Eiichiro Oda's manga ONE PIECE Volume 115 has risen from No. 2 to No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Book Hot 100 chart released on 16 July, retaking the top spot by leading physical book sales and picking up additional points from e-commerce and social media activity. The chart, which combines physical sales, e-books, library loans, subscriptions and social media data, reflects Japan's ongoing manga boom, with several major titles jostling for position in the same week.

Yoshihiro Togashi's HUNTER×HUNTER Volume 39, last week's chart debut at No. 1, drops to No. 2 while still topping e-book sales for a second week, and Haruki Murakami's The Tale of KAHO slips to No. 4 despite continuing to dominate social media. New entries include Takashi's debut photobook, which bows at No. 3 after leading e-commerce, and Hiromu Arakawa's Yomi no Tsugai Volume 13 at No. 5, tied to an ongoing anime adaptation. Ryunosuke Matsushita's Ichijigen no Sashiki also jumped sharply from No. 27 to No. 13 following the 5 July premiere of its live-action drama adaptation, with the chart tracking the period from 6 to 12 July.

  • ONE PIECE Vol. 115 reclaims No. 1 on Japan's Book Hot 100 chart.
