North Wales-born Phil Salt, the competition's all-time leading run-scorer with 1,138 runs, captains Welsh Fire as they chase a maiden title having never reached the play-offs since the tournament launched in 2021; Salt led the side out against Southern Brave in Southampton on Wednesday, 22 July.
