The release follows her previous project from the preceding year and maintains her signature fusion-focused approach to contemporary pop.

The EP features reinterpretations from fellow artists Isabella Lovestory and BAYLI, who each applied their distinct artistic sensibilities to the central concept examining emotional duality and identity complexity. Liu emphasizes that the collaborating musicians received creative latitude to reimagine the work through their own stylistic perspectives rather than adhering to a fixed template.
