Netflix has confirmed that the military drama SEAL Team will begin streaming on the platform from 18 August 2026, giving the series a new and potentially much larger audience after years split between CBS and Paramount+. The move is part of a wider content licensing agreement between Paramount Skydance and Netflix, reflecting the broader trend of studios placing established shows on rival streaming services to maximise their reach.

The series, created by Benjamin Cavell, ran for seven seasons and follows Bravo Team, an elite Navy SEALs unit carrying out dangerous covert missions abroad while navigating the personal toll on their lives at home. Netflix has not yet confirmed exactly how many seasons will be included at launch, though at least two are expected to arrive as part of the licensing deal, with further instalments possible later.
