Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, a 2D fighting title based on the popular animated series, is set to launch on PC and consoles worldwide on Thursday 23 July 2026. The release matters chiefly to fans of the franchise and fighting-game enthusiasts, who will be able to play as characters from the show in a new competitive title shortly after this announcement.

The game goes live at 1pm UTC (2pm BST), and offers 12 playable characters rendered in hand-drawn 2D animation faithful to the source material. It includes offline story and AI modes as well as online casual and ranked play, plus spectator and training features aimed at newcomers to the genre. There is no demo available, but the game can be wishlisted or pre-ordered on Steam in Standard or Digital Deluxe editions, the latter including a Year 1 pass with five additional characters.
