Developing story first seen 3 hours ago
Charli XCX has released her new album, Music, Fashion, Film, following the major success of Brat and alongside her expanding acting career. The concise 11-track record marks another deliberate stylistic shift for the artist, who says her albums are designed to contrast with one another rather than repeat a previous formula.
The album runs for just over 30 minutes and includes the singles “Rock Music”, “SS26”, “Wink Wink” and “Camera”, while its closing track features director David Cronenberg. Its cover brings together John Cale, Marc Jacobs and Martin Scorsese, and Charli is set to support the release with festival appearances and arena shows, including dates at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Los Angeles’s Kia Forum.
