PSN Down with No Comment from Sony Yet
PlayStation Network appears to be experiencing a widespread outage, affecting users in several countries while Sony had not yet commented. The disruption matters because it is preventing access to core online features and, for some players, licence verification for digital games, underlining reliance on PSN services.
Push Square reported a sharp rise in US outage reports that was beginning to ease, while UK reports were increasing. Reported problems include the PS Store and web store, game downloads, the PlayStation app, friends lists, Trophies, game servers and the Marvel Tokon beta; experiences vary, with some users still able to access limited features or play offline games.
