Sky Yang and Sean Kaufman have joined Paramount’s adaptation of Gabrielle Zevin’s bestselling novel “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow”, alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones. Yang will play Sam Masur and Kaufman will portray Marx Watanabe, while Edgar-Jones takes the role of Sadie; the casting advances a high-profile film version of a novel acclaimed for its depiction of friendship, creativity and the video game industry.

The story follows Sadie, Sam and Marx from childhood and university through the creation of their games studio, Unfair Games, across the 1990s and 2000s. Sian Heder will direct and write the screenplay, with Zevin serving as executive producer, and the film is scheduled for release on 12 November 2027; the 2022 novel has sold more than four million copies worldwide in 40 foreign-language territories.
