Florida rapper Loe Shimmy has released Pretty Girls Run the World, presenting it as a broader, genre-spanning project aimed at his growing female fanbase. The release matters because it marks an attempt to build on his rising profile and move beyond being defined solely as a hip-hop artist.
Shimmy has previously charted with “For Me” and “3 AM”, toured with Sexyy Red in 2024 and Lil Baby in 2025, and earned XXL Freshman recognition in 2025. He has worked with Drake and Brent Faiyaz, says those collaborations encouraged him to experiment with new beats and vocal styles, and is planning tracks with Latin artist Eladio Carrión and Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr.
