Argentine horror spin-off “Burger Night: Luli, Magda & Lore”, based on Joe Begos’ “Jimmy and Stiggs”, has announced an all-female lead cast. The project expands the original film’s alien-horror universe into Argentina and has attracted genre figures including executive producer Eli Roth, signalling international backing for the local production.

Agostina Palazzolo, Agustina “Papry” Suásquita and Maia Tarcic will star, while Pablo Guisa Koestinger joins as producer alongside Roth, Begos and Meg Thomson as executive producers. Sebastián De Caro will direct and co-write with Matías Orta; the creative team also includes Ramiro García Bogliano, cinematographer Mariano Suárez, production designer Catalina Oliva and local producer Federico Ricaldoni. Unlike the Los Angeles-set original, filmed over four years on 16mm, the new film follows different characters confronting the same extraterrestrial threat in Argentina.
