Paramount+ has cancelled the multi-camera comedy “Crutch” after one season, ending Tracy Morgan’s series less than a year after its November 2025 debut. The decision reflects the show’s limited audience and Morgan’s commitments elsewhere, and leaves Paramount+ without a live-action comedy on its current slate.

Morgan played Harlem shop owner Francois “Frank” Crutchfield, whose adult children move back into the family home; the series was set in the world of CBS comedy “The Neighborhood”. Morgan now stars in NBC’s “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins”, which premiered in January 2026 and secured a second-season renewal in May, while “Crutch” cast options had already expired; Paramount+ is concentrating instead on dramas including “Landman”, “Dutton Ranch” and “MobLand”.
