The Plot In You, the Ohio-based rock band fronted by Landon Tewers, have completed their self-titled album, a project built entirely from a series of three-track "volumes" released gradually since October 2022. Rather than disappearing for years to make a conventional album, the band chose to write and release music whenever material was ready, fitting sessions around a heavy touring schedule, an approach that allowed them creative freedom and let them road-test new songs throughout the process.

The finished record brings together 12 songs across four volumes, spanning the band's trademark shift between aggressive metalcore, atmospheric passages and rock melody, with tracks including "Forgotten," "Don't Look Away," "All That I Can Give," "Silence" and "Carved." In the interview, Tewers explains that pitching the EP-style rollout was initially met with scepticism from others involved, but says it proved rewarding, giving the band new material to play on every tour instead of growing tired of a single album cycle, though he is uncertain whether they will repeat the format for future releases.
