Country singer Bailey Zimmerman apologised to fans after his concert at the Delaware State Fair was cut short by a sudden power outage. Only a few songs into his set, the venue lost power, and after crews were unable to restore it quickly, organisers cancelled the show, prompting frustrated fans to boo and jeer.

While waiting to see if the power could be fixed, Zimmerman tried to keep the crowd entertained by taking photos, handing out snacks and attempting to perform without a microphone or speakers. He later posted a statement explaining that the city itself had lost power, meaning the cancellation was beyond his or the organisers' control, and said he hoped to return to give fans the full show they were promised. Power has since been restored at the fairground, which is set to host further performances from artists including For King + Country, Anne Wilson and Tracy Lawrence.
