Fred again.. & Latin Mafia to Host Mixtape Production Livestream That Won’t End Until the Mixtape Is Done
Electronic producer Fred again.. and the musical act Latin Mafia plan to broadcast their joint mixtape production in real time from Mexico City starting Tuesday at 1 p.m. CT. The livestream will continue for however long the creative session requires to reach completion, with no predetermined stopping point.
The two acts have built their collaboration over approximately two years through periodic studio sessions. According to Fred's announcement, their combined creative output emerged with unexpected cohesion despite the extended timeline, and the project involves five musicians total—three brothers from Latin Mafia working alongside Fred and his brother. The livestream follows the July release of a documentary film shot during a December Mexico City performance that sparked their formal mixtape effort.
