Marion Cotillard New Image & First Sales Unveiled For Nicole Garcia’s San Sebastian-Bound ‘Milo’

Deadline · 3 hours ago

Studiocanal and Trésor Films have unveiled a new image from Nicole Garcia's drama Milo, starring Marion Cotillard and Théodore Pellerin, to mark its selection for competition at the 74th San Sebastian Film Festival in September. Studiocanal, which co-produces the film and handles its international sales, has also confirmed a first wave of territorial deals, underlining early market confidence in the project ahead of the festival.

The film follows Cotillard as Alice, a woman who settles quietly into a provincial town and takes a café job, only for it to emerge that her presence is connected to Milo (Pellerin), a young mechanic to whom she is tied by an unresolved past. Early sales include Canada, Switzerland, Greece, Portugal, the CIS region and former Yugoslavia, with Studiocanal itself releasing the film in Germany. Garcia, who previously directed Cotillard in From the Land of the Moon, wrote the script with Jacques Fieschi, and the cast also features Artus, Alexis Manenti, Anne Brochet, Éric Elmosnino and Charles Berling.
