Collider · 5 hours ago

CBS has confirmed the return dates for the two holiday specials that will kick off Season 6 of Ghosts, following news that filming has begun in Montreal and the show's schedule was shifted to a midseason format. The specials, which serve as a bridge before the bulk of the 22-episode season airs, were teased at San Diego Comic-Con by stars and showrunners, who also revealed plot details fans are excited about.

The Halloween special, doubling as the Season 6 premiere, airs on 29 October and will introduce Hetty's sister Margaret as a new type of ghost. The Christmas special, a two-parter riffing on Die Hard, follows on 10 December and features the show's first-ever ghost-on-ghost possession; both air from 9-10pm and stream on Paramount+ the next day. The remainder of the season has no confirmed date yet but is expected to return sometime between January and March 2027.
