A new trailer has been released for the fourth season of Apple TV's comedy series Ted Lasso, ahead of its return on 5 August. The season sees Ted Sudeikis's character coach a second-division women's football team at AFC Richmond, rather than continuing in the Premier League, marking a fresh direction for the show following its widely debated third series and confirming its renewal after Apple TV brought it back in March 2025.

Jason Sudeikis reprises the title role alongside returning favourites including Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard. The trailer hints at new challenges, a coach in prison, and a possible rekindling of a familiar romantic storyline. The new series comprises ten episodes and will run until 7 October on Apple TV, picking up after Ted handed coaching duties to Roy Kent to return to his son in America, with Keeley's proposal for a women's team setting up the new plot.
