FC 26's Ultimate Team mode is set to receive its second FUTTIES special card set, continuing the summer promotion that began with an earlier "Team 1" release. The update matters for players building their squads, as it will introduce a fresh wave of highly rated, fully customisable cards while retiring the current batch from packs, giving collectors a limited window to obtain the outgoing set.

EA Sports has not officially confirmed which players will feature, though social media speculation points to names such as Yamal, Pedri, Aitana and either Ronaldo or Messi; as with the first set, all cards are expected to be rated 95 or above and to carry no fixed playstyles, unlike the accompanying Heroes and Icons cards. FUTTIES Team 2 is confirmed to launch on Friday 31 July, replacing Team 1 in packs, with additional SBCs and objectives expected alongside it, and there is unconfirmed speculation of a further "Best Of" re-release following the success of the first, which added over 100 special cards.
