Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ Passes 1 Billion Views on YouTube

Billboard · 3 hours ago

Queen's 1978 single "Don't Stop Me Now" has surpassed one billion views on YouTube, making it the second Queen music video to reach the milestone after "Bohemian Rhapsody" achieved the feat in July 2019. The song's enduring popularity reflects its long afterlife across film, television and advertising, decades after its modest chart debut, underscoring Queen's continued commercial and cultural reach on streaming platforms.

Originally featured on the album Jazz, the track peaked at just No. 86 on the US Hot 100 but reached No. 9 on the UK singles chart. It has since featured in adverts for brands including Toyota, Amazon and L'Oréal, was named "Greatest Driving Song of All Time" by Top Gear viewers in 2005, and appeared in the 2004 film Shaun of the Dead. It also featured on Queen's 1981 Greatest Hits album, the UK's all-time best-selling record, and gained renewed attention following the success of the 2018 biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
