Micaela Diamond and Will Pullen have joined Manhattan Theatre Club’s forthcoming Broadway revival of Clifford Odets’ 1935 drama Awake and Sing! Their casting adds two established stage and screen performers to a production of a major American play examining poverty, family tensions and competing ideas of the American dream during the Great Depression.

Diamond will play Hennie Berger and Pullen her younger brother Ralph, alongside previously announced cast members Danny Burstein, Jessica Hecht and Jeremy Shamos. Directed by Tyne Rafaeli, the production begins previews at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on 15 December 2026 and opens on 7 January 2027; it will be the first Broadway staging since the 2006 revival.
