Comedian Leonard Ouzts Releasing New Special ‘Lil Sumn Sumn’ With 800 Pound Gorilla
Comedian Leonard Ouzts will release his new stand-up special, Lil Sumn Sumn, on Gorilla Comedy+ on 10 August, before it arrives on 800 Pound Gorilla’s YouTube channel on 10 September. The release gives Ouzts a new platform for material that combines personal family experiences with observations on dating, popular culture and society.
The hour draws on Ouzts’s upbringing as a military child in Chesapeake, Virginia, including time spent in Japan after 9/11 and his family’s changing circumstances. Now based in New York, he has previously appeared on Comedy Central, HBO and MTV, made his late-night debut on Conan in 2016, and has acting credits including Master of None and Set It Up; his first special, The Big Joker, is already on 85 South’s YouTube channel.
