Black Stone Cherry is preparing to record a second EP shortly after releasing its latest EP, Celebrate, as part of a plan to issue new music more regularly. The Kentucky rock band believes shorter releases better suit today’s fast-paced listening habits and could help fans spend more time with each group of songs.

Celebrate was released digitally in March through Mascot Records and contains six original songs plus a cover of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” featuring Theory of a Deadman’s Tyler Connolly. The band intends the two EPs to form a divided full-length project; its most recent studio album, Screamin’ At The Sky, was released in 2023, while a US tour with Buckcherry begins in August.
