Patricia Richardson has reunited in person with Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Taran Noah Smith, who played two of her sons in the sitcom Home Improvement. The meeting highlights that some cast members remain connected off screen, despite uncertainty over any revival of the series.

Richardson shared a selfie referring to Thomas and Smith as “my other boys”; Zachery Ty Bryan, who played the eldest son, was not in the photo. Tim Allen has said a proposed reboot has stalled because of tensions involving the actors who played the sons, while Richardson has said she was not approached and would not want to return.
