The Hollywood Reporter · 3 hours ago

K-pop group IVE has kicked off a new era with their second studio album, Revive+, and are currently touring the US on their "Show What I Am" world tour, which stops at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on 1 August. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the six members – Yujin, Wonyoung, Gaeul, Rei, Liz and Leeseo – discussed their pre-release single "Bang Bang", the pressures and excitement of trying new material, and the realities of life as global K-pop idols.

The group first debuted in 2021 with "Eleven" and quickly became a major success, with members Wonyoung and Yujin bringing prior experience from the talent show Produce 48 and the group Iz*One. This US visit marked several firsts, including a Vevo Studios shoot in Los Angeles, and their current tour features new staging with solo performances from each member, building on the individual solo tracks included on Revive+. The band last played the Kia Forum in 2024 and returns with what members describe as a "new start" for the group.
