An Ohio man accused of shoplifting from a Kroger supermarket led police on a foot chase before leaping onto the bonnet of a passing woman's car as it travelled along Interstate 75, in an attempt to escape officers. The dramatic episode, captured on video, saw the suspect cling to and smash the vehicle's windscreen while attempting to seize control of it before falling off, according to police.

The suspect has been identified as Kaamil O'Berry, who fled on foot after allegedly stealing from the Ohio Kroger store. Footage from the Ohio Department of Transportation shows him jumping onto the moving car's bonnet on the interstate, damaging the windscreen in the process, before he lost his grip and fell from the vehicle; police subsequently detained him.
