Celebrity ‘Voice’ Season Set for 2027 on NBC

The Hollywood Reporter · 4 hours ago

NBC has announced a celebrity edition of its long-running singing competition "The Voice", set to premiere sometime in 2027. The move marks a departure for the franchise, which has spent 15 years and 30 seasons searching for undiscovered talent, and will instead feature already-famous contestants from acting, music, sport, comedy, reality TV and social media.

Keke Palmer, who also hosts NBC's game show "Password", will take over hosting duties from long-time emcee Carson Daly for the spin-off, officially titled "The Voice: Celebrity". Joe Jonas will join as a coach for the first time, alongside Queen Latifah and Riley Green, who both continue from the regular season 30 line-up that also features Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine. The celebrity edition will introduce new elements including a "boot camp", a "VIP room" for contestants to watch fellow performers, and a workroom for pre-battle strategy sessions, with the celebrity singer line-up to be revealed closer to the premiere.
