DC Studios has cast Mary Holland, star of Netflix's "Little House on the Prairie" reboot, in an unspecified role in the upcoming Jimmy Olsen television series, part of the studio's expanding slate of projects set in the "Superman" universe. The casting news, first reported by Deadline, comes as DC continues to build out its rebooted superhero franchise following the success of 2025's "Superman", with further titles including "Lanterns" and "Man of Tomorrow" also in the pipeline.

Holland will play a character named "Sandra" in the series, joining previously announced cast member Jimmy Tatro, who is set to portray the villain Gorilla Grodd. Little is known about Holland's character so far. The actress, known for roles in "Ghosts" and "Star Trek: Lower Decks", has prior ties to DC through voice work on "Harley Quinn", while the Jimmy Olsen series itself stars Skyler Gisondo in the title role.
