The release fills a notable gap for Switch fans, offering a familiar but expanded take on building and running dinosaur habitats, complete with new biomes, aquatic species and refined systems for managing facilities and guests.

The game splits gameplay across four modes: campaign, challenge, sandbox and Chaos Theory. The reviewer found the main campaign, set after Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, disappointingly thin and tutorial-like, though two Dominion-themed DLC campaigns fare somewhat better. The standout is Chaos Theory mode, which lets players replay pivotal scenarios from the first six Jurassic Park and World films, a mode notably absent from Jurassic World Evolution 3, making this older instalment's arrival on Switch 2 particularly worthwhile.
