Hulu's sci-fi drama Paradise has been confirmed to return for a third and final season, with creator Dan Fogelman sharing the first behind-the-scenes image on Instagram. The show, made by This Is Us writer Fogelman and starring Sterling K. Brown, had left James Marsden's character's future uncertain after the Season 2 finale, so the new photo confirms he remains part of the story going forward.

The image shows Brown's Xavier Collins alongside Marsden's Cal Bradford, who died in the series' opening episode but has continued appearing via flashbacks, and Jon Beavers' Billy Pace, captioned "Two dead guys walk into a bar." It is not yet clear whether the scene is another flashback or ties into the alternate timelines the show teased at the end of Season 2. Marsden currently has a busy slate, including Cyclops in Avengers: Doomsday and a role in the next Sonic the Hedgehog film.
