Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World has released a new trailer ahead of the second half of its fourth season, which resumes on 12 August after a nine-week break. The show, one of the most acclaimed isekai anime series, has seen its latest run become its best-received yet, reinforcing its status as a standout among fans and critics ahead of its "Recapture Arc" continuation.

The fourth season's first 11 episodes aired from 8 April to 17 June, scoring 9.15 on MyAnimeList, making it the second-highest-rated anime ever behind Frieren: Beyond Journey's End's first season. Its most recent episode briefly became the highest-rated TV episode on IMDb with a perfect 10/10 from 23,000 reviews, since settling at 9.9 across 71,000 reviews. The concluding eight episodes are expected to adapt material up to the 25th volume of the light novel, which spans more than 45 volumes; the series, which began as a web novel, has produced 77 episodes since its 2016 debut and follows Subaru Natsuki, who gains the power to rewind time after death in a fantasy world.
