Carson Daly has moved to quash speculation about his future on "The Voice" after NBC announced that Keke Palmer will host a new spinoff, "The Voice Celebrity." Rumours spread that Daly might be stepping back from the franchise he has fronted since it launched in 2011, prompting him to post a clarifying message on Instagram confirming he remains fully involved with the flagship show and is not departing.

Daly explained that "The Voice Celebrity" is a distinct new format from the "OG" series, featuring famous names performing for coaches Riley Green, Joe Jonas and Queen Latifah, and said Palmer was simply the better fit to host it while he focuses on producing it behind the scenes. He stressed he has hosted and produced every episode of the original show across all 30 seasons over 16 years, and will continue to do so when the milestone 30th season premieres on NBC on 21 September with coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Green and Queen Latifah. "The Voice Celebrity" spinoff is slated to launch in spring 2027.
