Jay Chandrasekhar, director and member of the comedy group Broken Lizard, has announced the release of his debut standalone stand-up special. Titled 'Brown Supremacist,' the hourlong performance will premiere on the Veeps streaming platform on August 20, evening hours across US time zones. The special features material drawn from Chandrasekhar's experiences navigating comedy and film work, with subject matter ranging from relationships and cultural identity to celebrity encounters.

Chandrasekhar's career spans three decades of entertainment, beginning with Broken Lizard at Colgate University and expanding into film direction and television work across dozens of series and feature films. The announcement comes as his latest theatrical project, Super Troopers 3, arrives in cinemas. The stand-up special was produced at Thalia Hall in his native Chicago.
