Jennie Church-Cooper Launches Management & Production Company Hello Sailor Media
Talent manager and producer Jennie Church-Cooper has launched Hello Sailor Media, a new management and production company representing comedians, actors, writers, directors and other multi-hyphenate creators across film, television, podcasts and digital media. The venture, which Church-Cooper says is built on championing underrepresented voices alongside established names, marks an expansion of her production work following exec-producing credits including the Peabody Award-winning Netflix series Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj and numerous comedy specials.
Church-Cooper launches the company after nearly two years as a manager at Levity Live and 18 years total in the industry, having previously spent eight years at Haven Entertainment and seven at Principato Young Entertainment (now Artists First). She brings a long-standing client roster to the new firm, including Felicia Day, Jerry Minor, Alyssa Limperis, Dylan Marron, King Hassan, Erin Gibson, Mamoudou N'Diaye and Shauna McGarry, many of whom she has represented for up to two decades; she has also served on the leadership committee of the Yes, And Laughter Lab, a nonprofit supporting diverse comedic voices, since 2019.
