Netflix has cast Bailee Madison and Deon Cole in "Grown Ups 3", joining an ensemble that sees Adam Sandler, David Spade, Rob Schneider, Chris Rock, Kevin James and Salma Hayek reprising their roles. The film marks the third instalment of the Happy Madison comedy franchise about childhood friends reuniting for a summer, following Netflix's confirmation in May that the sequel would go ahead with Kyle Newacheck directing.

Newacheck previously worked with Sandler on "Happy Gilmore 2", one of last year's biggest streaming hits, which notched a Nielsen record of 2.89 billion minutes viewed in its opening week. The "Grown Ups 3" script comes from Sandler and Tim Herlihy, who are producing alongside Jackie Sandler and Jack Giarraputo. Madison, known for "Bridge to Terabithia" and "Roommates", has worked with Sandler before, while Cole, recognised for his Netflix stand-up specials and a role in "Michael", brings further comedic pedigree to the cast. Plot details for the new film have not yet been revealed.
