Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean have fuelled speculation that the Fugees could release new music for the first time in nearly 30 years, with Hill describing an "incredible healing process" within the group. The pair spoke to BBC News ahead of a Milton Keynes concert marking the 30th anniversary of their landmark 1996 album The Score, which produced hits including Ready or Not, Fu-Gee-La and Killing Me Softly, though neither confirmed that a new record was actively being made.

The interview took place before Friday's Diaspora Calling! festival at Milton Keynes National Bowl, headlined by Hill and also featuring Wyclef Jean, Erykah Badu, Giggs and others, hosted by Dave Chappelle. The Fugees' third member, Pras Michel, was not present, as he is currently serving a prison sentence in the US following a federal fraud conviction; earlier the same day, Hill and Jean also gave an impromptu a cappella performance for fans in London's Piccadilly Circus.
