Collider · 1 month ago

McDonald’s Japan has launched Pokémon-themed Happy Meal toys as part of the franchise’s 30th-anniversary celebrations. The promotion adds another major brand collaboration to a year of commemorative releases, though no international availability has been confirmed.

Available from 7 August 2026, the collection includes toys featuring Pikachu, Eevee, starter Pokémon and Snorlax, including rolling Poké Ball toys, a disc launcher and plastic card cases. The toys will be released in Japan in two phases; Pokémon began in 1996 and is also marking the anniversary through merchandise, game content and a trading-card collection due in September.
