Cheap Trick played a sold-out, intimate concert at the 500-capacity Troubadour in West Hollywood on 5 August after their planned support appearance for ZZ Top at the Hollywood Bowl was cancelled. The replacement show gave fans a rare chance to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band in a much smaller historic venue, with fan-filmed footage now available.

The set included staples such as “Dream Police”, “I Want You To Want Me” and “Surrender”, plus covers of songs by The Move and Fats Domino, across an 18-song performance including an encore. Cheap Trick released its 21st studio album, All Washed Up, last November; the band has sold more than 20 million albums and performed more than 6,000 concerts since forming.
