Keen Ruffalo Never Intended to Get Into the Family Business
Keen Ruffalo, son of actor Mark Ruffalo, says he did not initially intend to follow his father into acting, having studied fashion design instead. During the COVID-19 pandemic, uncertainty about his future led him to explore the craft through formal training, which he says confirmed his interest and eventually earned his father’s encouragement to pursue professional roles.
The 25-year-old now appears in Prime Video’s Sterling Point as Connor, twin brother of lead character Annie, and is also set to feature in the Green Day comedy Nimrods. Ruffalo grew up on a farm in upstate New York and says he was largely shielded from Hollywood, only later recognising his father’s public profile; he values working alongside other early-career performers on Sterling Point.
