Deadline has reportedly identified New Zealand actor Lydia Peckham as joining the forthcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda film. Her role has not been disclosed and neither studio nor talent representatives commented, so the report remains unconfirmed; nevertheless, it adds to growing speculation around the production’s cast ahead of its 2027 release.

Peckham previously worked with director Wes Ball on Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and appears in MGM+ series Robin Hood. Reported cast members include Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link, while Uli Latukefu, Dichen Lachman, Yvonne Strahovski and the late Sam Neill have also been linked to unspecified roles; the film is scheduled for 30 April 2027.
