Phoebe Bridgers to make acting debut in A24 drama ‘Primetime’
Phoebe Bridgers is set to make her acting debut in Primetime, an A24 drama directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson. The film is inspired by the rise of Dateline’s To Catch a Predator, with Pattinson playing presenter and creator Chris Hansen; Bridgers’ role has not yet been disclosed.
Primetime is due for release on 25 September and also features Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Matthew Maher and Bokeem Woodbine. The announcement comes shortly before Bridgers releases her third solo album, Lost Weekend, on 14 August, followed by listening events, release parties and a tour of North America, the UK and Europe.
