Has GEDDY LEE ‘Seen Any Signs’ That NEIL PEART Is ‘With’ RUSH On ‘Fifty Something’ Tour? He Responds
Geddy Lee has described a striking encounter with a bird after Rush’s opening ‘Fifty Something’ tour show, when asked whether he had sensed the presence of late drummer Neil Peart. Although Lee said he does not usually believe in such signs, he found the timing and resemblance to the tour artwork remarkable.
Peart died aged 67 in January 2020 after living with glioblastoma for more than three years; his diagnosis had been kept private at his request. Rush’s comeback tour began in Los Angeles in June, with Lee and Alex Lifeson joined by drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.
