Pippa Harris and James Wilson to Headline London Film Festival Industry Forum

The BFI London Film Festival has announced that producers Pippa Harris and James Wilson will lead the industry programme at its 70th edition this October, each taking part in individual spotlight conversations. The festival said the pair, whose credits include some of the most acclaimed British and international films of recent years, will discuss their careers, current projects and how to navigate a rapidly changing global film and TV market.
Harris, known for her long-running partnership with Sam Mendes at Neal Street Productions, produced "1917" and "Hamnet" and is currently working on "The Beatles" biopics, alongside television work including "Call the Midwife". Wilson has a longstanding collaboration with director Jonathan Glazer, producing "The Zone of Interest" and "Under the Skin", as well as the Oscar-nominated "The Voice of Hind Rajab". Festival director Kristy Matheson said this year's industry programme puts a spotlight on producers and their role in shaping films from conception to screen; the full forum line-up will be revealed in mid-September, ahead of the festival's run from 7 to 18 October.
