A new documentary examining Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker's life following a devastating 2008 aircraft incident will premiere on streaming platforms this month. The film, which debuted at the Tribeca Festival earlier this year, explores how Barker navigated the aftermath of the tragedy, including his struggles with substance abuse and existential questions about survival. Directed by Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer, the production features contributions from fellow musicians and Barker's family members.

The crash claimed the lives of Barker's assistant and bodyguard, along with both crew members, while Barker and another survivor initially walked away. That other survivor subsequently died from a drug-related incident the following year, leaving Barker grappling with guilt over his own survival. In recent interviews, Barker has disclosed how he became dependent on painkillers during his intensive touring years, and he has reflected on warning signs he experienced before boarding the fatal flight that he now recognises should have prevented him from travelling.
