The Tallest Man on Earth Readies New Album

The Tallest Man on Earth, the project of Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Mattson, has announced a new album titled "Just Beyond Endless Mountain," due for release on 9 October via Anti-. The record draws on the traditional folk music of Sweden's Dalarna region, where Mattson grew up, and reflects what he describes as a return to a cultural heritage he once resisted but has since come to embrace after moving back to the area.
The announcement follows May's release of "Colors," his first new song since 2023's "Henry St," and is accompanied by a video for the single "Deliver Me From Trying," filmed in the Swedish countryside. The 11-track album also includes songs such as "The Wildest of His Dreams" and closing track "The Village." Mattson will support the release with a cross-country North American tour in the autumn.
