Disney has confirmed that Demi Lovato will return as Mitchie Torres for a cameo in Camp Rock 3, the long-awaited third instalment in the Disney Channel franchise that helped launch both Lovato and the Jonas Brothers to fame. The announcement, made just days before the film's release, follows the earlier confirmation that the Jonas Brothers would star as Connect 3 and that all four would executive produce the project alongside Tim Federle, adding a fully fledged legacy sequel to a trend that has recently included Star Wars, Top Gun and Creed revivals.

Camp Rock 3 is set to premiere on 13 August 2026, directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye. The plot follows Shane, Nate and Jason Gray of Connect 3 returning to Camp Rock in search of a new opening act for their reunion tour, while Lovato's brief on-screen return as Mitchie Torres was revealed alongside a first-look image of her back in the role.
