SAS: Rogue Heroes, Steven Knight’s Second World War drama, has risen into MGM+’s US top 10 streaming titles as viewers watch or revisit it while awaiting its third series. The renewed interest matters because it shows the British production continuing to build an American audience despite no announced release date for the next instalment.

The series premiered on BBC One in October 2022 and is based on Ben Macintyre’s 2016 book about the formation of the SAS. Its second series arrived on BBC One on 1 January 2025 and on MGM+ eleven days later; it was renewed for a third series in September 2025.
