Katie Gregson-MacLeod has announced that her debut album, ‘Albatross’, will be released on 6 November. The announcement marks a significant next step for the Inverness songwriter, who first gained viral attention while studying and has since developed her work between London and the Highlands.

The album was made with Last Recordings On Earth, the artist-focused label founded by Matt Maltese, and its title alludes to Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s poetry. Gregson-MacLeod has also released the new single ‘Nothing Ever Changes’, described as an understated and emotionally personal preview of the record.
