DC Studios has reportedly ended development on *Paradise Lost*, the planned Wonder Woman prequel series, as well as the Amanda Waller spin-off *Waller*. The decision suggests that James Gunn’s DC Universe is narrowing its television and film plans after several announced projects stalled or failed to progress.

*Paradise Lost* was intended to explore Paradise Island, home of Wonder Woman and the Amazons, ahead of a future Wonder Woman film. *Waller* would have starred Viola Davis as the government operative Amanda Waller, who has appeared across *Suicide Squad*, *Peacemaker* and *Creature Commandos*; the cancellations follow the abandonment of the proposed *Booster Gold* series.
