Gerhard Zeiler, Warner Bros. Discovery’s president of international, will receive the 2026 International Emmy Directorate Award. The honour recognises his more than three decades of leadership across major European and global media businesses, including his role in shaping Warner Bros. Discovery’s international operations and streaming expansion.

Zeiler will accept the award at the 54th International Emmy Awards Gala in New York on 23 November. His career has included senior posts at Austria’s ORF, RTL Group and Turner Broadcasting, while HBO Max has expanded to more than 130 countries in just over three years under Warner Bros. Discovery; Netflix’s Bela Bajaria will also receive the Founders Award at the ceremony.
